She is primarily a dog groomer with us. She works 3 days per week grooming, which is generally considered full time in the mobile dog grooming industry. Grooming is traditionally compensated in the form of commission and tips from the dogs that they groom. So, she is paid commission and tips for her grooming work with us.
She also does additional work for us that is outside the scope of her grooming duties, like laundry. She is paid $20/hr for this work and spends about 2 hrs per week doing this.
Every other week she receives a paycheck that includes all of her commission, tips, and hourly wage from that pay period. This paycheck is expected to be around $2,200 when she returns to work.
We are planning on raising our prices in the next few months. Since she is commission, this means her compensation will go up. We have not finalized a timeline for this, but it will be in the next 3 months
